Take Action Now. $upport the Fight. More Ways To Get Involved & Informed.
Long term, local involvement is what breeds change.
Recognize the shell game and insist our reps not to buy into the con. We must remind those who speak for us of our priorities rather than corporate interests. We must demand access to accessible, affordable health care, education, and homes. We must demand equality and respect for ALL Americans.
Care about incarceration rates and minimum sentences? Care about immigration rights? A woman’s right to choose? Gerrymandering? Sex offenders being brought to justice? Almost ANYTHING else? Our local judges & representatives are the ones who make the decisions, so we should GIVE A SHIT about who they are and VOTE!
It’s easy to find out how you can get involved! Whether you have but 5 minutes, or if you’ve been thinking about what it might take to run for office- it’s not as hard as you think it is to be heard!
When local officials truly represent us we all do better. Hold them accountable by STAYING involved. Vote. EVERY time you can. Not just once every year or every 4 years. Get informed and vote for primaries and municipal elections too! Vote on bond issues and referendums! Vote for School Boards, Selectmen, Mayors, Local Judges! THAT is how we get better candidates for all offices including larger offices like Senators, Congressmen, and yes, even Presidents.
